According to the loading method, load sensors are divided into pressure sensors and tension sensors, so the installation method is different.
When selecting a pressure sensor, it should be installed under the crane shaft. This method requires the layout of the crane to have a gap to accommodate pressure sensors, otherwise the equipment will change. When selecting a tension sensor, install the tension sensor on the steel wire rope wound from below the balance pulley. The steel wire rope and tension sensor are securely connected with a chuck, and sliding is not allowed. This method does not require equipment replacement and is only suitable for balancing pulleys in fixed pulley systems.
It is worth noting that after replacing the suspension cables with different components in the crane, the imbalance value of the sensors must be reset to zero from the beginning. Otherwise, the instrument will make a major error and the crane will be overloaded.
