Lifting electromagnetic suction cup is one of the common lifting accessories, especially in steel plants, steel markets, waste steel bins, etc. It is also called lifting electromagnetic coil. What should we pay attention to when using it in work? Let's take a look together.
Electromagnetic suction cups are designed based on the principles of magnetic flux continuity and magnetic field superposition. The magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet suction cup is designed as multiple magnetic systems. By the relative motion of the magnetic system, the magnetic field strength of the work can be increased or eliminated, achieving the purpose of clamping and unloading.
1. When lifting the suction cup, first clean the surface of the lifting workpiece, clean the oxide scale and protrusions. Overlap the suction cup in the middle, place the suction cup on the workpiece plane, rotate the handle from the "-" position in the "direction" to the stop pin, check if the handle ramp is automatically locked, and then lift it up.
2. When lifting the permanent magnet suction cup workpiece, overloading is strictly prohibited, and human body is strictly prohibited from passing under the workpiece. The temperature and environment of the suspended workpiece are below 80 degrees Celsius, with no severe vibration or impact.
3. When lifting cylindrical workpieces, the suction cup must maintain contact between the V-shaped groove and the workpiece in two straight lines, with a lifting force of only 30% -50% of the rated lifting force.
4. After lifting the suction cup, press the handle button inward to release the protective device and pin of the handle. Rotate the handle from the "direction" to the stop pin. Place the suction cup in the closed state and separate the workpiece from the suction cup.
5. The magnetic discharge of suction cups is closely related to the shape of the object, the weight and thickness of the lifted object. For example, a 500kg suction cup typically only holds 250kg of round steel. After 500 kilograms of round steel is adsorbed, the contact area between the suction cup and the lifted object is insufficient, which can easily lead to lifting accidents.
